Sleep Data: Information related to your sleep, including sleep duration, sleep cycles (light, deep, REM), wake-up frequency, and sleep quality scores. This data is generated when you use the App's sleep tracking feature.
User-Provided Information: Information you voluntarily provide, such as your name (for friend relationship building), sleep notes (e.g., caffeine intake, exercise, stress levels), and contact information (if you contact our support team).
Device Information: Basic device details necessary for the App to function, such as device model, operating system version, and device identifier (for technical support and App optimization only).
We use your information solely for the following purposes, and we will never use it for any unstated purposes without your explicit consent:
Provide and maintain the App's core functions, including sleep tracking, sleep analysis, and generating personalized sleep reports.
Deliver personalized sleep tips and recommendations based on your sleep data to help you improve your sleep quality.
Facilitate social features (e.g., friend relationship building and sleep data sharing) as authorized by you.
Optimize the App's performance, fix technical bugs, and enhance user experience.

We strictly protect your privacy and will never publicly disclose your personal data to any third party without your explicit permission. The only circumstances in which your data may be shared are as follows, and all such sharing is fully controlled by you:
Authorized Friend Sharing: You may choose to build relationships with other users through the App's social feature. Only after you explicitly authorize and establish a friend relationship can the other party view the sleep data you choose to share. You have the right to revoke this sharing permission at any time.
Your Voluntary Cloud Sync: We provide an optional cloud sync feature. You can independently control whether to sync your sleep data to our secure cloud server. If you enable cloud sync, the data will only be used for data backup and cross-device access (e.g., accessing your sleep data on another of your devices), and we will not share this cloud-stored data with any third party.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, legal process, or government request, but we will only disclose the minimum necessary information and will notify you (unless prohibited by law) before doing so.
You have full control over your personal data and can exercise the following rights at any time through the App's settings or by contacting our support team:
Control Sharing Permissions: You can manage your friend relationships and adjust which sleep data to share with specific friends. You can revoke sharing permissions for any friend at any time, and the other party will no longer be able to view your data after revocation.
Control Cloud Sync: You can enable or disable the cloud sync feature at any time. If you disable cloud sync, your data will no longer be synced to the cloud, and any previously synced data in the cloud will be retained only for a limited period (as specified in the App) to allow for potential re-enabling, unless you choose to delete it.
Delete Data: You can delete specific sleep records, all sleep data, or other personal information you provided at any time. Deleted data will be permanently removed from your device and our cloud server (if synced) and cannot be recovered.
Delete Account: You can request to delete your iSleep account at any time. Upon account deletion, all your personal data (including sleep data, user information, and friend relationships) will be permanently deleted from our systems. We will confirm your request before completing the account deletion to ensure it is your voluntary choice.
Local Storage Priority: By default, all your sleep data and personal information are stored locally on your device. This data is encrypted to prevent unauthorized access on your device.
Cloud Storage Security: If you enable cloud sync, your data will be stored on our secure cloud server. We use industry-standard security measures (including data encryption, access control, and regular security audits) to protect your cloud-stored data from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or destruction.
We will retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide the App's services or as required by law. If you delete your account or data, we will stop retaining your data and will delete it in accordance with the terms above.
The App may integrate limited third-party services (e.g., crash reporting tools, analytics tools) to improve our services. These third-party services will only collect the minimum necessary information (e.g., device information) required to perform their functions, and they are bound by strict privacy obligations that prohibit them from using or disclosing your information for any other purposes. We will not share your sleep data or personal information with these third parties.
The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will immediately delete such information and terminate the child's access to the App.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or privacy practices. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the App (e.g., a pop-up notification) or via other means (e.g., email, if you provided it). Your continued use of the App after the updated Privacy Policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
